Pet Laser Therapy
A non-invasive holistic treatment.
When a physical condition or injury affects your pet’s mobility or quality of life, there is one goal: A rapid return to every-day activities. We have invested in the very best technology as a key component of our continuing quest to offer you the finest in health care for your pet.
Laser therapy is a non-invasive, drug-free alternative for managing pain. Our laser therapy has been cleared by the FDA for use in both the veterinary and medical fields. It is proven safe and effective for treating many debilitating pain conditions, with no known side-effects.
Our Class 1V laser uses specific wavelengths of light that have a strong anti-edema, anti-inflammatory effect on exposed tissues. Painful conditions accompanied by swelling or inflammation benefit from this technology. Photons of laser energy penetrate deeply into tissue and accelerate cellular reproduction and growth. As a result of exposure to this therapy, the cells of muscles, tendons and ligaments experience more rapid repair. Pain subsides very quickly as inflammation is reduced. In simple terms, laser energy kick-starts the healing process, thereby speeding recovery.
Get your loved one back to pain-free health more quickly with our Laser Therapy!
Laser therapy can be used to treat:
- Arthritis, degenerative joint disease, or hip dysplasia
- General pain management (sprains, strains, and stiffness)
- Post-surgery pain (spays, neuters, declaws, and other surgeries)
- Skin problems (hot spots, lick granulomas, infections)
- Fractures and wounds (bites, abrasions, and lesions)
- Ear infections
How does laser therapy work?
Laser therapy stimulates the body to heal from within. Non-thermal photons of light are administered to the body for about three to eight minutes and absorbed by the injured cells. The cells are then stimulated, and respond with a higher rate of metabolism. This results in relief from pain, increased circulation, reduced inflammation, and an acceleration of the healing process.
What can my pet expect during a laser therapy treatment session?
Pain relief is provided in just a few minutes of therapy. The almost immediate relief of pain will allow your pet to be comfortable, and any anxiety that your pet initially experiences will dissipate.
How do I know if my pet can benefit from companion laser therapy?

- Abnormal sitting or lying posture
- Circling multiple times before lying down
- Restlessness
- Whining, groaning or other vocalizations
- Limping, unable to get up or lie down
- Difficulty getting into car or down stairs
